Solid Sheets

Solid polycarbonate sheets combine strength, light transmittance and lightness to produce an excellent result. Although it weighs half of the same thickness glass, it is 250 times more impact resistant than glass. In terms of light transmittance, it achieves the same values as glass. In addition to these, thermal insulation and acoustic insulation values are better than glass. Due to these reasons, it can find different usage areas in buildings after cold or hot processing. As Gallina, we produce solid polycarbonate sheets in two standard versions, coextruded on both sides, with UV protection (PoliComp®) and without UV protection (Scudo®). Thanks to our special production machine line, the widths of our solid boards are 2050mm and 2500mm as standard. Solid plates can be produced in different widths, lengths and colors upon request.
